Prayer for Inner Healing

“May God grant you the knowledge to know your inner self.”  (Ephesians 3:16)

Let us pray.  Oh Lord, you probed me and you know me.  Grant me the grace to let you into the attics and cellars of my life.  Help me to stop fooling myself and living up to other people’s expectations.  Let me be honest with myself and with you.  In that place of nowhere, be with me, Lord, you know me through and through.  Let me not be afraid to accept myself in my brokenness and failure.  You accept me as I am and who I am.  I pray, Lord Jesus, that I can see with your eyes and not my own.  Jesus, take me as I am into your love.  Amen.
