Suggested Spiritual Warfare Prayer for our Children

prayers or my help.  Give me wisdom to be the parent I need to be, and help me to be an understanding friend to them. 

Father, may my children fulfill your plan and purpose for their lives.  May the Spirit of the Lord be upon them, the Spirit of Wisdom and of Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel, and of Power, the Spirit of Knowledge, the Holy Spirit Gift of Piety, and the Holy Spirit gift of the Fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).  I release these gifts upon my children, Lord, and place my children in your hands.  I thank you that you love them more than I do, that your plans for them are plans for welfare and peace, not for evil, and that you will give them a future of hope (Jeremiah 29:11).  Amen.
