Healing Mass Prayer 2:
Prayer for Healing of the Family Tree Mass (Pray before Mass)
Dear Lord Jesus, I confess my need for you and for the healing power of your love in my life. I confess that I am a sinner and rely on your mercy and your grace for forgiveness and healing. Thank you for dying on the cross for me and for the forgiveness of my sins.
I invite you, Lord Jesus, to come into my heart and into my life to dispel all darkness and affliction and disease of all kinds from my body, soul, spirit, mind, emotions, dreams and subconscious. I welcome your presence in the power of your Holy Spirit and ask that as I seek healing, this prayer will begin a time of grace for me. I pray you will deliver me from the snares of the enemy, so that I may walk in freedom from the slavery to sin, from all inner woundedness and from any physical ailments and disease of any kind.
I ask especially today, Lord Jesus, that you will cleanse the blood lines of my family tree (both the living and the dead) with your precious blood so that my family tree, beginning with me, will be set free from anything that would be an obstacle to healthy living in my physical, emotional, mental and spiritual life. I pray that my family tree will be rooted in the Way, Truth and Life of Jesus, and that we will be like a tree planted near the living water of the Holy Spirit and bear eternal fruit for the glory of God. .
Please search my heart and my soul, Lord, and shed your light into my area of need. Help me identify where I am in need of healing and repentance. I welcome the resurrection power of your love and presence into my woundedness and I welcome the light of your presence into any darkness in me (silently name this before the Lord if you are able), and I ask that you will impart to me the gift of faith to receive healing and transformation. I pray you will be glorified in my life, and I thank you for the gift of your love and healing which will flow through me and my family tree today as I celebrate your love given to me at this Mass. Amen.
